Healing Properties
Organic mango butter has vitamin A, vitamin C, vitamin E, vitamin F, Folate, vitamin B6, Iron, vitamin E, Potassium, Magnesium, Zinc, and antioxidants. It is nurturing for the skin, moisturizing, and has been known to treat problems like eczema, psoriasis, bacterial and fungal infections. It can soften skin and vitamin C fights free radicals which can increase the production of collagen.
About the plant
Mango is the national fruit of India, and thusly deeply intertwined with the land's stories and spiritual ceremonies. In historical stories, it is noted that Mughal emperor, Akbar the Great, planted around 100,000 mango trees in India’s eastern parts. Mango trees have been cultivated and harvested in India for thousands of years. Around 1889, Dr. David Fairchild introduced the mango to the United States, it has flourished, specifically in Florida where over 400 varieties grow. Most at or on managed lands of Fairchild Tropical Gardens.

Extraction Method
Cold pressing of mango seeds.

From the land of mangos, this butter is sourced from organic family farms who have a long tradition of maintaining and caring for their mango groves with stewardship.
